Return & Refund Policy – HoleIn1 Golf Gear

At HoleIn1 Golf Gear, we are committed to providing high-quality golf apparel and accessories. This policy outlines your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and our additional store return options.


1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product:

  • Is faulty or unsafe

  • Is not of acceptable quality

  • Does not match the description or sample

  • Is not fit for its intended purpose

If the problem is major, you may choose a refund or replacement.

Consumer rights apply even if the product has been used, packaging is missing, or tags have been removed, provided proof of purchase is supplied.


2. Change of Mind Returns

We may offer change-of-mind returns at our discretion.

Under Australian law, businesses are not required to offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases. If a store chooses to offer this, it must follow its own policy.

HoleIn1 Change-of-Mind Conditions (Example)

You may return items if:

  • Returned within 14 days of delivery

  • Unworn, unused, and in original condition

  • With original packaging and proof of purchase

Change-of-mind returns may be offered as:

  • Store credit

  • Exchange if Stock available 


3. Items Not Eligible for Change-of-Mind Returns (Example)

For hygiene and safety reasons, change-of-mind returns may not be accepted on:

  • Worn golf gloves

  • Personalised or custom items

  • Clearance / final sale items

(Note: These limits apply only to change-of-mind returns and do not override consumer rights for faulty products.)


4. Faulty or Damaged Products

If your product is faulty:

  • Contact us as soon as possible

  • We will assess the issue and provide a repair, replacement, or refund

  • If confirmed faulty, reasonable return shipping costs will be reimbursed

Businesses cannot use store policies to remove consumer guarantee rights or impose blanket “no refund” rules on faulty items.


5. Proof of Purchase

Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
This may include:

  • Receipt

  • Online order confirmation

  • Bank or card statement


6. Return Shipping

For faulty items:

  • If the product has a confirmed fault, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

For change-of-mind returns:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.

Our policy is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law and does not replace or limit those rights.

Retailers cannot state “no refunds” or limit remedies for faulty products under Australian law.
